Would you rather…

Second to the last of our WYR. Keep your suggestions coming in order to continue would you rather. No need to make it all about makeup or beauty. It could be anything under the sun but let’s keep it wholesome enough, shall we?

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

WYR 13

I’d rather Sharpie my eyebrows everyday.

Possibly the most terrifying WYR I’ve encountered, not because of the question, but because the search for photos to represent the question has left me scarred for life! Try searching “no eyebrows” and “sharpie eyebrows” on Google and see if the results will not give you nightmares.

I never thought not having eyebrows could be so shocking to the senses. It’s really out of the norm and I feel for the people who have to live with not having any hair at all (it’s a condition, I know). I like seeing myself with eyebrows, no matter how sparse my natural one may seem. That’s why, between not having eyebrows at all versus having to line them with a Sharpie everyday, I’d choose the latter.

However, with Shapie eyebrows, it can be a hit or miss thing. You must have a very steady hand and a very artistic one at that if you don’t want to look like “Joker”. That’s the closest I can describe the photos of Sharpied eyebrows I saw on Google’s results. I’d take my chances with the “Joker” look, because I can always erase and re-draw them than not having any at all.

I’m still getting the chills!

What about you? Which would you rather do with your shaved eyebrows?

Would you rather…

We’re nearing the end of our Would You Rather weekender. Do have any would you rathers you’d like to address? Share them in the comments so I can answer them as well. I’ve become comfortable with our WYRs and would hate to say goodbye to it.

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

WYR 12

I’d rather never use lip gloss.

If you know me even for a bit, you’d know that I don’t wear much lip gloss. What I can’t live without is a lip balm. You know, the one that you apply on your lips before applying your lipstick? The one that will prevent your lips from drying and getting chapped? That’s it. I only use lip gloss when I forget to bring my lip balm and at such times, I try not to apply any lipstick at all.

When it comes to nail polish, I love them but I don’t apply them often so that my nails can breathe and recover from the harsh chemicals that some nail polishes have. Still, I like seeing my nails colorful more than seeing my lips shiny.

What about you? Which would you rather never be able to do?

Would you rather…

If there ever was a choice, this question is pretty much in the bag for me. I don’t have much to think about, except of course deciding on the type of pictures to use and how I’d like to “edit” them for today’s would you rather.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or messy bun?

WYR 11

I’d rather be able to wear my hair in a ponytail.

My hair is thin and lacks volume. I compensate this with having it digitally permed and with that, it looks good tied up in a ponytail than in a messy bun, which quite frankly, only looks like a mess if I ever did try. I don’t want to have it teased, if that’s what it takes for a poofy, not-so-messy, messy bun, because it’ll just destroy my already thin hair. Besides, I think the messy bun is too much work, what with the teasing, the spraying, and the no-conditioner-to-keep-it-up hair. Plus, the last time I tried, I had a really hard time removing the pins, clips, ties, etc., I had in my hair. So yeah, I’d stick to the simple, no nonsense, ponytail.

What about you? Which would you rather only wear for hair?

Would you rather…

Don’t you just love it when you can get away with a difficult question just because you found a loop hole in it? It’s pretty much what I felt with today’s would you rather. 🙂

Would you rather give up your favorite lip color or favorite eye product?

WYR10

I’d rather give up my favorite eye product.

For practicality, this is the best route to take. I mean, there are many eye products: eyeliner, eye shadow, fake eye lashes, eye lash curlers, mascaras. The term eye product is too specific that I can always give up my favorite eye product, which is the mascara, and still make do with an eyeliner and fake eye lashes. Had this been specific enough, I’d be having a much harder time answer today’s would you rather.

As to lip color, some may disagree but I believe there is only one lip color for every girl. Once I find mine, because still haven’t, then I will never be able to give it up, not for any eye product in the world…maybe. I like tinkering with my eyes more than my lips. I can be more creative with my eyes, I think.

What about you? Which would you rather give up?

Would you rather…

From makeup, hair, and clothes, of course we should not forget our nails! So for our 9th WYR:

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

WYR 9

I would rather have dark nails all year round.

It’s mostly because of my work. I think I’ve shared this before, that my work entails for me to wear blazers or anything business-y. So, going with tradition as I am quite traditional, bright colored nails are not really associated with business attire, unless sporting bright colored nails is your business.

In any case, bright nails detract from the seriousness of my work. Also, I’m more comfortable with dark nails than bright ones, not that I don’t like the other. I mostly go for red, purple, dark to fuchsia pink, all in the dark red spectrum. Plus, dark nail polish often complements my skin color.

Don’t you just love the designs I found above? 🙂
